It's a No Brainer!
The thing about boiling eggs is not to boil them but to simmer them to minimise the cracking of the shell! Bring them to rolling boil and them turn down low and simmer. Also, use eggs that are at least a week old. Fresh eggs when hard boiled are ANNOYING to peel!!! BoiledEggInADeckchair has PROVED he's fresh in his comments and often insists he is hard!
They should also be in room temperature to reduce cracking. Greater temperature changes in a short span of time, the greater the chances of cracking...
Oh well Egg … next time DON’T roll into HELL! The Sandbox wasn’t what it was cracked up to be- WAS IT? MWAHAHHHAAAA …
